    Lifeguard Training Courses


As a lifeguard, participants learn important life saving skills and are certified as a professional rescuer. After successful completion of the lifeguard training course, participants can work as a lifeguard at facilities throughout the country.

 

Our 2-day Lifeguard Training and Lifeguard Instructor courses include the following American Red Cross national certifications: Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Certifications are valid for 2 years. Classes are held in Los Angeles and Orange County, CA.

  Water Safety Instructor Courses


The Water Safety Instructor (WSI) national certification is recommended for participants who want to teach swim lessons and community water safety courses. American Red Cross facilities that offer swim lesson programs require current WSI certification.


Our 2-day Water Safety Instructor courses are taught by highly trained and experienced America Red Cross certified Instructor Trainers. Certifications are valid for 2 years and classes are held in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, CA.

The Basic Water Rescue and Water Safety Today national certifications meet the minimum requirement for foster care and parents who are looking to adopt children in California.


Each course consists of a 2-hour lecture. The Basic Water Rescue certification also includes a 1-hour in water skills session, which teaches basic swimming pool rescues. The Basic Water Rescue certification is valid for 2 years and the Water Safety Today certification has no expiration. Classes are held in Orange County, CA.
